Swishfund offers fast, accessible business financing to SMEs - a market where technology makes the difference. An entrepreneur applying today does not want to wait weeks for a manual review. Since 2018 we have been building the digital core that makes that possible.
LOREM second intro paragraph. The two-column intro is built for roughly a hundred and forty words together, so a second paragraph of about seventy words belongs here: what the collaboration grew into, and what changed along the way. This text still has to be written.

The challenge
The loan application had to feel smooth for the customer, while under the surface multiple external APIs read along for data validation, plus a custom API for data storage. That calls for an architecture that stays reliable while the outside world changes. And that outside world changes fast: because Swishfund keeps innovating, new - often still young - financial platforms keep joining the mix.

Our approach
We started with the core website and the loan application process:
- A frictionless application flow that guides the entrepreneur step by step
- A robust architecture that seamlessly combines external validation APIs with a custom data API
- A client portal where customers manage their financing and documents
From there the collaboration grew: in short, agile iterations we explore new technologies, often before they mature. Every new connection is built as a separate microservice, so one integration can change without touching the rest - essential in a market where banking APIs are young and evolve quickly.

The result
Today a suite of microservices connects Swishfund to platforms such as Rabobank Direct Connect, Plaid and Nordigen. Eight years after the first website, the architecture still moves with the market - new platforms connect without rebuilding the core. Exactly what a digital core should do.

What began as a single website grew into a collaboration of many years - microservices connecting Swishfund to ever more financial platforms.
